Ow ow ow ow fuck

ow.

I have something on the order of nine stitches in my mouth. I hurt a lot.

Cap'n Lumpy has been mostly evicted. He was some sort of granular, fatty thing that didn't look like a lipoma, so we'll see in seven to ten days. The doc said he flat-out didn't know what it might be.

Ow ow ow ow.

Nurse Ames is bringing back antibiotics and Lortab.

More later.

Hi there! I don't actually know you personnally, but I love reading your blog and I just thought I'd let you know I have added you to my prayers. I hope it turns out that Captain Lumpy is nothing, and I hope you get better soon. Take care!

maybe it's some weird thing related to the wisdom tooth that is lurking up in your jaw..or some other weird anatomical 'abnormality' that is ultimately annoying but benign!
meanwhile, prayers, drugs, fluids, rest, kitty love, doggy love.....

Thank you so much for keeping us posted! Best wishes as you heal and wait and figure out how to eat and drink without pain. Cuddles for your kitties & Max!

Good luck to you. At least at first blush it doesn't look ominous...so that's a good thing...right? :)

Flat out not knowing is better than dead silence or a muttered 'oh no' and I'm glad for that. I have been thinking about you all morning and keeping my fingers crossed for you. Will continue to keep them crossed until you get good news. In the meantime, you should know that Cherry Garcia has enormous restorative powers.

You poor thing. I hope the pills will take the edge off. I hate mouth pain and throat pain; it's so debilitating.

I'm glad that lumpy thing is gone.

Love to you, and three cheers to your support crew! Chocolate peanut butter smoothies go well with Lortab.

With due respect to Will Shakespeare "Out, out, dammed Captn Lumpy!" Praying for good news and less hurting. If it helps you, I can appreciate the stitches and hematoma a little as I had skin cancer on my vulva with the incision having 9 stitches and a I developed a hematoma the day of surgery. And no - I wasn;t sunbathing nekkid, I swear!
