First, a couple of warnings

1. This is insane in the membranous material.

2. If you have trouble with vertigo or a fear of heights, do not click the link. Really.

3. It's a full-screen video, so unless you have a high-speed connection, don't bother.

OK. I have a hot new computer going on line tomorrow and - maybe! - moderate speed stuff, an upgrade from dialup.

What's it about?

That is beyond cool! I like to say "Whatever blows your skirt up'" but in this case who needs a skirt! Amazing, I'm passing this on. Thanks!

Mom: it's a video of a bunch of guys wingsuit flying.

Which will mean nothing to you until you click the link (muahahahahaha!).

It's such a good thing that they are wearing safety helmets.

You must read metafilter too :-) I followed some links on these madmen - apparently to even start doing that sort of basejumping you have to have done at least a couple hundred regular skydives - definitely a rich kid's game but wow!

(hope you're feeling better!)

Well, I've got vertigo _and_ I'm a'scared of heights, but I clicked anyway, and I had a great time! I've sent it on to a bunch of people. So cool. So crazy.

I kept waiting for the video to show someone totally mucking. Blech! So glad it wasn't - and how awesome to watch!

The hubby and I stumbled across this the other night on the Tee Vee. Not pretty, but not fatal.

But not pretty.

I loved the Cardinal who became a Pope - is this going to replace the puff of white smoke next time?
Just found your blog - love it! I should say that most of the family works in the NHS in GB - they have no end of manglement there too. Why don't non-medic-y people understand us and our sense of humour? Do you think we were born that way?
