I have had a hell of a day. Can you say retroperitoneal hematoma and bleeding out of a kidney? I knew you could.
However, I am not yet so zonked on Chee-tos that I could let this slip by:

Sweet Mary mother of god I hate retroperitoneal bleeds. By the time you figure out that their back pain isn't due to the crappy old hospital mattress they've been sleeping on their crit's 19 and heading to Panama City and they need a vascular surgeon STAT.
And when they get better they code during dialysis three months later.
