Conversation over dinner

Me: "I can't help it. I'm feeling cranky. And grouchy. And disillusioned. And bitter. And grumpy. I no longer believe in love or the sanctity of romance. I hate everybody."

Friend Suzie, deadpan: "Take. A. Fucking. Motrin."

But romance and love are alive and well!!

Met John at 16, had our son (ahem) a bit early at 19, married at 21, second kiddo at 23....still together.

And I still love him and he can still give me "that look" and I get all squishy inside!!

For $500, I would have hoped the vacuum could have staved off bitterness and disillusionment for more than just a few hours.

Are you sure there's not some other attachment you haven't tried yet?

Ohh.... so true.. so true.. so true. But I don't think the Motrin is going to help.

Seriously Funny tho.

Well it's about fucking time. Perhaps you are just achieving an optimal level of cynicism.
