You know? As the ship is taking off, and Wall-E is on it, and the cockroach is yelling, "Come back!"
It got me.
Sheesh.
Cryin' over a damn CG cockroach. This has got to be 1) a new low in Head Nurse History, and 2) a sign I need a week off.
Brain on the top, spine down the back.

I thought when WALL-E ran over it, the cock roach was dead but no...he jumps up and runs around. I'm a nurse too and I admit I cried too. I think you are right...A week off sounds awesome!!!
And that is where we differ. I have an irrational hatred/fear/phobia of cockroaches. I wanted the thing to die, Die, DIE! I actually shuddered everything the thing was on the screen. Provided great entertainment for my friend though. Ha!
This is enough to keep me from seeing Wall-E. I just think that little cockroach is adorable...I couldn't bear to see him so sad.
Don't feel bad. I actually CRIED when the chickens' home-made airplane flew over the fence in "Chicken Run". (And all the little idgity kids in the theater turned and looked at me like I was a complete NERD.)
It's ok. I cried for "An Extremely Goofy Movie" but not "Pearl Harbor"
Who cries at Goofy?
You want to try crying at that point in the cinema. Twice... And then when I watched it at home...
(and at the scene in the garbage disposal of the space-ship. And at the ending.)
I'm a guy and I was moved almost to tears by this movie!
Yup - been avoiding this movie simply because there aren't enough tissues in the western hemisphere. I am a sensitive type!!
