This has been coming for a while. Over the last eight years, I've experienced a lot and learned a lot, but it's time I go back to my first love.
For that reason, this blog is going to transition to a static site between now and May, when I re-enter school to get a degree in sports turf management from the University of Mississippi. It's going to be a difficult readjustment, but I really think it's for the best.
The nursing experience will continue to serve me well, especially in dealing with mower-related injuries.
I'm sure you will very happy in your new career choice ~

ReplyDeleteNursing is ok I guess if you can't find anything better to do, but if there is one group of professionals that are underpaid and underappreciated in today's society, it is the brave men and women that put it all on the line tending shrubbery day in, day out.

ReplyDeleteFor today I put some magazines dating from 1977 on display in our waiting room (my parents had been storing them in their garage for some unknown reason). Sadly, we only got two comments. I thought it was pretty funny though.

Hey, I'm doing almost exactly the opposite of you. I have a degree in Ornamental Horticulture and have worked in that field for 15 years....now I am in nursing school, graduating this May. Good luck!
