Keep working those armoured, sparkly disco big girl panties.

And as one of your other commentators said, roll on karma and justice, and have them get a move on.

Max - get ready for much clowning and de-stressing post-shift.

  3. Go get 'em! Cheering you on from my laptop and wishing I was close enough to buy you a beer and give you a hug. Nobody should have to work in such a toxic environment. You are both brave enough and tough enough to do something about it.

  4. Honey, I know you can do it! If I can you can do it with sooooo much more class! These boys will not get you down and if they do...they have Rat Scratch Fever (yes, I know funny, haha, play on words) to deal with.

Take a deep breath. Make it a game. Like the well-adjusted Penguin would say...It's time to just walk into the room and shout WTF?!?

It makes everyone feel better. I did it in the hall yesterday...I feel much better.

  6. Go kick ass, Nurse Jo. I have utter and total faith in you, and you shall prevail!!!!!

Look at it this way: maybe you were meant to do this shift for a while to help clean up some really serious messes there. Not the most enjoyable thing, to be sure, but...maybe you're supposed to be there at this time and place?

Hey, it applied to Queen Esther: "For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?" Esther 4:14

Esther is my favorite book of the Old Testament, for good reason. Esther righteously kicked ass. You will, too. ((((Jo))))

  8. I have absolute faith in your skills at the kicking of ass, taking of names, and all-around being the awesomest awesome that ever awesomed on the CCU night shift! I wish I could come down there with my Clue-By-Four to help whack some sense into those empty-headed dingbats. I am sending happy vodka thoughts and all the good mojo I can summon your way.
