I think my husband hates you for this. I've spent the last week hollering "Got My Tube! Tube. Tube! TUBE! TUUUUUUUUBE!!!" all over the house at random hours of day and night. Like all forms of primitive communication, the phrases have developed actual meaning appropriate to context, though my volume control is non-existent and sometimes scares the dogs:
I can't feel my hands/feet or (new symptom) my face and can't be bothered to care? Got My Tube!
I need ice/heat pack? Tube. Tube! TUBE!
I get dizzy and fall over/drop something/walk into a wall/dog/box of books? TUUUUUUUUBE!!!
Such is the process of recovery from surgery around here. Tube is the new Fentanyl. Hawt.
