I agree with her perfectly. I have stopped active "dieting" and am actively living...and maintaining at 173 (thank God I am 5'8"). Since I live close to Mexico...and the Latino culture ... I am considered beautiful at my weight. Viva Mexico! LOL, oh, and I almost did not get a travel assignment because the MD that examined me PUT on my physical that I was OBESE! Since when was a size 12 Obese??? I think I am average Female America!
How marvelous! I love this woman! This video made me cry. I have struggled with my weight my whole adult life and although I am thin now I am still learning to love the skin I am in. What I weigh should not dominate my life. Milly
This woman is absolutely gorgeous and I LOVE what she's saying. Thanks for sharing that.

Wow ppl. Stop idolizing other fat people who are self confident enough to be comfortable with being fat.
ReplyDeleteNow I am skinny. I do not like it -I work not to be one, it gives me drive and improves self confidence .
It is not about hating yourself it is about recognizing your faults and work on improving them insteading of finding comfort in your own faults.
Self improvement is work, but what it gives is not just "beach" body - it is the character you build in the process.
Gee, Max, I would've thought that ignoring society's ever-more-insane standards and standing up for your own value is character.
ReplyDeleteSounds like she's got enough self-improvement to share. With you.
