Straight burnout-on from 0700 to1430, a 15-minute break, followed by coughing and vomit, and another straight-on stretch until 2115.

I'm not going to work tomorrow. Afraid I'll puke on my patients.

Yes, I love my job, but if it's killing me, that sort of gets in the way of doing a good job sometimes. Know what I mean?

Two-for-two for crazy-hard IV sticks, though. It's all good, but not really.shrimplatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08347542266047278227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833607.post-1138998178119453532006-02-03T12:22:00.000-08:002006-02-03T12:22:00.000-08:00Jo,Have you thought about teaching? I came down with Guillain Barre Syndrome, a very severe case and spent almost four months on the vent back in 2003. Then this last summer I had a relapse and spent another month and a half on the vent. It has of course changed my life forever. I hope you find what you are looking for to make your job easier to do. Just please remember, it's our lives that are changing forever... or ending.

God BlessJimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03615347560451442678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833607.post-1138945501948031982006-02-02T21:45:00.000-08:002006-02-02T21:45:00.000-08:00The great thing about nursing: you can do so many...The great thing about nursing: you can do so many different things within its spectrum.
