Cuttle, you silly cephalopod. Of course not. It's to do with the fact that I do neuroscience.

Actually, I just realized--you would have noticed the mistake in the brain-based love sonnet. I screwed up my weird neurology: the right angular gyrus is what Blanke was mucking about with when he found out-of-body experiences; the "sensed presence" stuff I was referring to was Persinger's work with left temporal lobe microseizures.

Dang.

Of course, so few people write neuroscience love sonnets that I could be forgiven for overlooking the difference between temporal lobe seizures and the right a.g. in my excitement.
