...and in one of the first scenes, Daniel Radcliffe is in a T-shirt.
A *snug* T-shirt.
My first thought?
"Damn. Look at that vein in his bicep. I could slide an 18-gauge in that, easy."

Hi Jo, I know how you feel i just saw harry potter 5 too and noticed how much the young men have grown not only in height but also muscles. Just remeber its all about anatomy.
Student nurse Nic
Hahaha that's fantastic. I haven't seen Harry Potter yet (or sicko) but now I'm afraid I'll imagine someone doing that to him. And by the way, that's some list for physicians below! Cheers.
Not being a nurse, that wasn't my first though upon seeing that scene. Being a mother of an impressionable child, I will refrain from posting my first thought. ;-)
I do that all the time. Most disturbing was when my son was a baby and I was holding him while he slept- a nice vein on his wee little bald head kept attracting my attention and I thought, well, if he ever gets sick, there's one for sure spot there. ( Head veins are fair game to pedi nurses, and good in code blue situations- last to collapse.)
By the way, THANK YOU for the link to bitch, phd. I'm checking out the others, I'm sure you'd love girlwithaonetrackmind.blogspot.com
I
guess there's hope for me. That was only my second thought.
Ha! That's practically the 1st thing I notice on people. My husband has awesome veins - I don't think you'd even need a tourney to get an 18 or larger in him.
